Appointments

As restrictions continue to lift we are  gradually returning to mostly in-person appointments, in the line with the government's recently published ‘COVID-19 Response - Spring 2021’. In addition to our 1:1 support appointments, the Welfare Advice appointments have also returned to Belmont Connect.

Covid precautions and other important information

DO NOT ATTEND FOR ANY APPOINTMENT IF YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO SELF-ISOLATE, OR IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAS TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 IN THE LAST 14 DAYS, OR IS SHOWING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS:

  • a temperature or fever (over 37.8°C) in the last 48 hours;
  • a new persistent cough in the last 48 hours;
  • a loss or change to sense of smell or taste.

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time and socially distance whilst you wait to be let in to the building.

You must maintain a social distance of at least 2 metres from anyone else who is not in your support bubble -  whilst waiting outside and whilst inside the building.

Upon entering the building please ensure that you use hand sanitiser (either your own or that provided at the entrance), and that you are wearing a face covering at all times (it is your responsibility to bring your own face covering with you).

There will be a ten minute break between all appointments to ensure all areas and equipment are cleaned prior to the next appointment.

Our computers are Covid safe – they are cleaned regularly and we will ask you to wear a face covering and gloves whilst using them.

The ladies and gents toilets are currently not in use. You will only be able to use the disabled toilet. Only 1 person must enter the toilet at any time. Please close the toilet lid before flushing and ensure you thoroughly wash your hands.

There is no smoking allowed either inside the building, or at the front of the building. The smoking area is also closed.

A lift is available for access to the first floor. However, there are a couple of steps to get to the meeting room where some of the appointments are being held. If this will cause you a problem, please ensure you book an appointment on the ground floor.
