As restrictions lift we are returning to mostly in-person events, in the line with the government's recently published ‘COVID-19 Response - Spring 2021’. However, some events are still taking place on Zoom for now.

Free events and activities

Our events and activities are free to anyone over the age of 18 living in the London Borough of Sutton.

Wellbeing activities

Our regular wellbeing activities currently include yoga and mindfulness, with new instructors.

Support groups

The Sutton Hearing Voices group and the Sutton OCD Support Group are both taking place in-person.

Information and advice

Each month we organise information and advice sessions on a variety of topics, hosted by ourselves or by relevant external professionals.

Coming soon - We are currently in the process of finalising details for further Signpost Sutton sessions on BSL and on Scams, plus a Diabetes workshop by Dr Zeeba. Please check back later for further information.

Coffee Morning

In celebration of Mental Health Awareness week, we are bringing back the Virtual Coffee Morning. Join Danielle and Teresa for this special one-off session on Tuesday 11th May, 11:30am to 12:30pm.

Regular activities & support groups

We continue to offer a selection of FREE weekly wellbeing activities including Mindfulness and Yoga. We also have our regular support groups - Sutton Hearing Voices group and Sutton OCD support group.

To make a booking, select the date you wish to attend from the calendar below.

Please note for online bookings:

  • Due to limited capacity, places for some of our activities are reserved for "Members only", this is for booking purposes only. For more information about becoming a member please get in touch.
  • Booking for weekly activities taking place at Belmont Connect, open 6 days in advance.
  • Only 1 person per booking.

Mindfulness

Selfcare is so important - take some relaxation time just for you.

Weekly on Mondays 7pm to 8pm on Zoom and Tuesdays 1pm to 2pm at Belmont Connect.

Yoga/pilates

Suitable for all abilities. Mats provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water if possible.

Weekly on Tuesdays 10am to 11am.

Smoothie hour

Relax, chat and enjoy!

Choose from a selection of freshly made, feel-good smoothies. £1.50 each.

Weekly on Tuesdays 11:15am to 12:15pm.

Drop in

Unlimited hot drinks £1.00. No lunch is currently available.

Weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

Let's talk football

Join Ovie on Zoom to talk about the latest Euro 2020 matches, your favourite club or anything football related.

Weekly on Tuesdays 5pm to 6pm.

Line dancing

Join Janice from HotShots Line Dance Club for some toe tapping fun.

Weekly on Thursdays 10am to 11am.

Coffee morning

Enjoy a catch-up over a hot drink and a slice of cake. Unlimited hot drinks £1.00, a slice of cake £0.50.

Weekly on Thursdays 11:15am to 12:15pm.

Scrabble club

Come and enjoy a game of scrabble in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Weekly on Thursdays 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

Art afternoon

A relaxed, free art session at Belmont Connect.

Weekly on Thursdays 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

Music group

Come and join Geoff and others for a fun, musical sing-a-long.

Weekly on Fridays 11am to 12pm.

You do not need a referral to come to the group but we request that you contact Fiona first on admin@smhf.org.uk or 020 8770 0172.
