Although many coronavirus restrictions have eased, regulations and guidance remain in place to help stop the spread of COVID-19. We have returned to many in-person events (all with limited numbers and you must book in advance) but we continue to offer some events on Zoom for those who feel more comfortable with this option.

Free events and activities

Our events and activities are free to anyone over the age of 18 living in the London Borough of Sutton.

Wellbeing activities

Our regular wellbeing activities currently include yoga and mindfulness, with new instructors.

Support groups

The Sutton Hearing Voices group and the Sutton OCD Support Group are both taking place in-person.

Information and advice

Each month we organise information and advice sessions on a variety of topics, hosted by ourselves or by relevant external professionals.

Managing Pain

A 6 week course to help you manage and cope with a painful condition

  • A friendly and interactive course with a mixture of education and group discussion.
  • Understand more about your situation and the issues that affect pain.
  • Learn about how to find new ways to manage and cope with your pain.

Christmas Eve Drop-in

On Christmas Eve our normal Friday Drop-in is being replaced with a special event.

Join us for a Christmas Quiz, with our very own Quiz master - Danielle Gardner. Followed by non-alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies.

New members meet & greet

A chance for people who haven't used the service before to have a look round, meet the staff and generally find out what we can offer

On the first Friday of each month, 10am to 12pm at the Belmont Connect.

Hoarding Awareness workshops

A 6 week course run by Megan Karnes from Hoarding UK covering:

  • Understanding Hoarding
  • Risk and risk assessment
  • Legislative and Service engagement
  • Working better
  • Moving forward

Mondays 6pm to 7pm, commencing 24th January on Zoom. Booking is for all 6 workshops.

Regular activities & support groups

We continue to offer a selection of FREE weekly wellbeing activities including Mindfulness and Yoga. We also have our regular support groups - Sutton Hearing Voices group and Sutton OCD support group.

  • Due to limited capacity, some of our activities are reserved for "Members only", for information about becoming a member please get in touch.
  • Booking for weekly activities taking place at Belmont Connect open 7 days in advance.
  • Only 1 person per booking.

Mindfulness

Selfcare is so important - take some relaxation time just for you.

Weekly on Mondays 7pm to 8pm on Zoom and Tuesdays 1pm to 2pm at Belmont Connect.

Yoga/pilates

Suitable for all abilities. Mats provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water if possible.

Weekly on Tuesdays 10am to 11am.

Drop in/Lunch

Lunch is available on Tuesdays only. Lunch £2, dessert £0.50, unlimited hot drinks £1.00.

Weekly on Tuesdays 11:30am to 1:30pm and Fridays 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

Let's talk football

Join Ovie on Zoom to talk about the latest Euro 2020 matches, your favourite club or anything football related.

Weekly on Tuesdays 5pm to 6pm.

Line dancing

Join Janice from HotShots Line Dance Club for some toe tapping fun.

Weekly on Thursdays 10am to 11am.

Smoothie hour

Relax, chat and enjoy!

Choose from a selection of freshly made, feel-good smoothies. £1.50 each.

Weekly on Thursdays 11:15am to 12:15pm.

Coffee morning

Enjoy a catch-up over a hot drink and a slice of cake. Unlimited hot drinks £1.00, a slice of cake £0.50.

Scrabble club

Come and enjoy a game of scrabble in a relaxed, friendly environment.
